Photo Upload Limits and Instructions
Overview
Good news! There is no limit to the total number of photos you can add to a listing in connectMLS. However, there is a system limit of 25 photos per upload batch, meaning you can upload photos in groups of up to 25 at a time.

Compliance Requirements
To remain compliant with LERA MLS Rules and Regulations, you must adhere to the following:
- Upload a minimum of 4 photos when initially entering a listing.
- Listings with fewer than 4 photos at input may be considered out of compliance and could result in a violation.
- Branding is not permitted on listing photos. This includes logos, contact information, agent names, or brokerage identifiers.
- Virtually staged photos must be clearly labeled as virtually staged to ensure transparency and compliance.
- For full compliance details, refer to LERA MLS Rules and Regulations Section 1.3: Detail on Listings Filed with the Service (b).
- Listings found to be out of compliance may be subject to a minimum fine of $100.

- The minimum image size is 640 x 480 pixels.
- The maximum image size is 1720 x 1080 pixels.
- Images larger than 150 pixels wide by 180 pixels high will be automatically resized to fit system standards.
- Keep in mind that larger file sizes may take longer to upload.
When uploading listing images, ensure the following:
- Photos can be uploaded in common file formats such as JPEG, GIF, PNG, BMP, and similar.

Adding Photos to a New Listing
Follow these steps to upload photos to a newly created listing:
- From the listing screen, locate and click the Media tab (left-hand side).
- Select Manage Photos.
- Upload images by either:
- Clicking Choose File to Upload, or
- Using drag and drop to add files.
- Once all photos are added, click Save Changes.

Adding Photos to an Existing Listing
To update or add photos to an existing listing:
- Navigate to Listings.
- Select View/Manage My Listings and Transactions.
- Locate your listing from the list.
- Click the Edit (pencil) icon on the far right of the listing row.
- In the pop-up window, choose one of the following:
- Edit Listing Details → Then click the Media tab.
- Add/Edit Photo → This takes you directly to the Media tab.
- Upload images by either:
- Clicking Choose File to Upload, or
- Using drag and drop.
- Click Save Changes after uploading.
To update or add photos to an existing listing:
- Navigate to Listings.
- Select View/Manage My Listings and Transactions.
- Locate your listing from the list.
