How Would I List a Property That Is Not Within SABOR’s Jurisdiction?

The San Antonio Board of REALTORS® represents over 15,000 members across ten counties in South Texas from all real estate specialties including residential sales, property management, appraisal, and commercial sales.

SABOR’s jurisdiction covers Atascosa, Bexar, Frio, Karnes, Kendall, La Salle, McMullen, Medina, Uvalde, and Wilson counties. https://sabor.com/Buying-Selling-and-Renting/Our-Counties

If you are listing a property that is not located within these 10 counties, you will need to be mindful of the following adjustments.

-MLS Area

Any property that is not in SABOR’s jurisdiction is considered Out of Area. The MLS Area Code for the Edit Basic Listing Entry is 3100.

-Subdivision (Legal Name)

The MLS data only has subdivision from the counties we have jurisdiction over, and this field is required for listing input. For this field, select the lookup icon and search for “Out/” and find your corresponding county. For example, if I am listing a property in Nueces, select “Out/Nueces.” If you do not find the county in the pick list contact, MLSInfo@sabor.com for assistance.

          -Schools and School Districts

Similar to Subdivisions the MLS data only has schools from the counties we have jurisdiction over. We have a large list of school districts across Texas, and you should be able to find your corresponding       district. If not, email MLSInfo@sabor.com for assistance. For the individual school you will need to look up “CALL DISTRICT.” This will be a valid selection for Elementary, Middle, and High schools.
